HER STORY

Hosted at the Gadsden House, Our Belle Katelynn and her dapper Captain took full advantage of Charleston’s blessedly beautiful winter for their outdoor wedding.

Katelynn knew she had found the one in the intricate, dynamic design of Matthew Christopher’s Sofia gown. From silk chiffon bands to subtle swiss dots, this dress had all the divine detail to make Katelynn swoon. Adding sweetness to her selection, this was the gown her Mom pulled for her to try.

To make the dress her own, Katelynn chose the color of the underlay and lowered the back before adding a few buttons to polish off her gown. So enamored with Sofia, Katelynn crafted a creative costume change that allowed her to stay in her dress throughout the grand event, while changing her look.

For her ceremony, Katelynn added the ethereal Eden Skirt by Lea Ann Belter before shedding dreamy silk for a sweet blushing bride belt by Ivy & Aster to accent her silhouette.
