HER STORY
Melanie and Herman wanted a wedding to reflect their Chinese and American backgrounds and celebrate the blending of these two cultures.
Undeterred by a rainy winter day (adorable umbrellas helped...), these two love birds brimmed with joy from beginning to end surrounded by friends and family for their special day. Hosted at Cannon Green, the event featured nods to tradition with the couple’s own twist, such as incorporating a Chinese tea ceremony before hitting the dance floor with fervor.
For her gown, Melanie chose Heidi Elnora’s Ashton Creel from the Build-a-Bride collection. This chic silhouette suited her like a dream with its rich raw silk and stunning halter neckline. Melanie knew it was the one when she felt like she wore the dress – not the other way around. To polish her ensemble, Melanie paired her gown with a luscious fur stole.
